Step into the stranger side of Herefordshire’s history with a unique Folklore Lino Printing Workshop at the Hereford Museum History Store! 🐄🖤
Take inspiration from local folk tales, mysterious stories and some of the wonderfully unusual objects held in the museum collections, from a cured doll to a two-headed calf, then turn your inspiration into your own lino print.
You'll learn the basics of designing, carving and printing a lino block, with guidance throughout the process. Create a spooky, strange or folklore-inspired design and experiment with ink to produce your own collection of prints to take home.
Whether you're fascinated by local history, folklore, strange curiosities or simply fancy trying something new, this is a chance to combine creativity, storytelling and hands-on printmaking in a unique museum setting.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Suitable for ages 14+
All abilities welcome - no previous experience needed
All materials and aprons provided
