Creative Juice = creative freedom
Our aims:
Providing creative workshops, clubs and events that support learning, self-expression and skill development.
Offering social creative sessions that reduce isolation by encouraging community connection and genuine conversations.
Supporting wellbeing through relaxed creative activities that promote confidence and positive mental health.
Encouraging people to discover and try hands-on, screen-free crafts that offer the satisfaction of making something tangible, building practical skills and fostering mindful engagement.
Creating opportunities for children, young people and adults to explore creativity in a supportive environment.
Working with local organisations, venues and community groups to expand access to arts and cultural activities in Herefordshire.
Originally, Creative Juice began as a monthly craft club at The Jam Factory in February 2025, meeting on the first Tuesday of each month. This much-loved session still continues, while a growing range of workshops and creative events are now offered alongside it.
Creative Juice is a friendly crafting community with a relaxed approach to making things! It’s something different to do in Hereford as a solo date, to meet new like-minded people, bring friends to catch up in a new venue or hang out with family to make new memories!
All ages and abilities are welcome (under 18s must have parent/guardian permission) and there’s always help and inspiration on hand if you need it. Creative Juice also strives to accommodate accessibility needs wherever possible, ensuring everyone can join in, get creative and feel comfortable.
About Lily
Hi, I’m Lily – the founder of Creative Juice!
My creative journey began at Hereford College of Arts, where I completed a Foundation Diploma and had a fantastic year exploring different disciplines and developing my artistic practice. I then went on to study Decorative Arts at Nottingham Trent University, graduating in 2017 before returning home to Hereford to build my portfolio and establish creative connections within the local community.
Over the years, I've worked across a wide range of creative projects and mediums including embroidery, flag making, sculpture, costume, painting, lino printing, collage and mural commissions. My work has included projects for The Jam Factory, Bao to the Broth and Temple Records, among others.
I love experimenting with colour, texture and materials and I'm always looking for new ways to make bright, playful and engaging creations. Through Creative Juice, I'm passionate about helping people discover the joy of making, whether they're trying a craft for the first time or developing existing skills.
When I'm not running or planning workshops, you'll usually find me mooching around charity shops, enjoying a pint at The Barrels, or visiting my favourite place in the world – Hay Bluff.
